This was the perfect spot for an overnight stay on Graskop. We were looking for a spot to stay on the area on the way back to Joburg from exploring Kruger. We visited the Graskop gorge for the Zipline, stunning views and waterfall/ravine gorge walk. We followed this up with an amazing meal at the glasshouse restaurant (the lamb shank is incredible) and then had an much needed sleep at the laguna lodge. Our room was tucked away in a beautiful garden and was so cozy and comfortable. Nice hot shower and a cute little table and chairs on the patio. Coffee and tea in the room was a nice touch. Pancakes at Harry's in the morning before heading back was a great finish to an amazing trip. Would highly recommend and will be back. Staff were easy to communicate with, friendly and efficient :)

This is a lovely home on a quiet residential street. The house is large, on a nicely manicured lot, tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are beautifully renovated. We were only two, but it would be comfortable for 6-8 people.

Clean and well maintained accommodation. Well furnished and stocked for self catering. In very close proximity to some good restaurants and a spar supermarket if shopping for supplies. Very good base for exploring the panorama route and surrounds and also perfect if you just want to to unwind in the quiet setting.

The town and surrounding areas are great places to visit. There’s some great restaurants in the surrounding areas for meals. I didn’t like paying admission fees for every single tourist attraction along the roadside. Road infrastructure is dangerous and should be used with extreme caution.

Graskop is a small town and has a couple of nice restaurants we went to. Has a small grocery store for supplies and was central for us to see all the sites we had on our list. It was also quiet where we stayedand the weather was nice and cool when we were there in March.

Graskop town and Pilgrims Rest town are rundown which is sad.
There are potholes everywhere which makes driving difficult
There needs to be street lines painted and cat eyes installed onto the roads as you come into Graskop from Hazyview. The fog and early evening driving makes it difficult to see and dangerous.
Gods Window, the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes are just spectacular and made the trip worth while.

The view is why you go.
The view is why you go. The apparment was medium size with a lovely view over the pool and mountain range. Due to loadshedding that evening we had no electricity, and the establishment did not make provision for that for us. Luckily the restaurant manager borrowed us a light which we returned the next morning. The food was delicious. Would be great if they would serve breakfast as well. But let me tell you, this place is worth the drive, the view is to die for and staff were very friendly and helpful.

My absolute favourite spot is Mac mac pools, that is the coolest natural pool to swim in. Visited three rondavels, Graskop Gorge lift, God's window Mac Mac falls and Lisbon fall. All these places are worth a visit however you must be prepared to drive. Graskop should be named the jewel of Mpumalanga.
We loved the details about the hotel. It feels like a walk through history, since everything is so old. The owner bought it a year ago, so she is still figuring out who the people in the photoframes on the wall are.
The bedrooms are very cosy, and also in a very old style. The heated bedding is amazing, especially when it's cold outside.
The staff is very very nice, they will help you with everything, book an amazing restaurant (Glass House) for you and make sure you eat breakfast in the morning.
Nothing but praise!
Nazeem was great. He made us feel welcome. The chalet was beautiful and very functional. Everything you need inside. He even advised us on how to plan our routes. There's also a poster with areas of interest in and around Graskop. His chalets have a toilet, shower, bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, a fridge, microwave oven, a TV, free Wi-Fi etc. Truth is, you get way more than what you pay for. I definitely recommend Horizon view chalets... Nazeem is the guy in charge. He's very kind and informative.
The owner was SO friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of tips on the area, its highlights, as well as advice for the best route to Kruger. We really felt at home, as the bed was comfortable and we got a fresh coffee in the morning despite the loadshedding in the area. The location is great to explore the panorama route and the city Graskop also has a few nice restaurants, a gas station and a supermarket - so perfect for anyone travelling through the area!
There were electric blankets and heaters in the bedrooms. There was also another heater in thr bathroom and a fireplace in the sitting room. They provided firewood for the fireplace. The kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed.
The host was friendly and quick to respond. They gave us a map of the area and places to lookout for nearby. The place is so tranquil and 4 mins away from graskop town, which is near many tourist places.
Everything else: Hendry and his staff provided top notch services. They provided the breakfast in our patio. And we loved the home baked bread.
The room was very clean with lots of amenities. The bathroom was huge. The beds were very comfortable.
The guesthouse is well-located, not far from restaurants and attractions like the Gorge Lift, the Mac Mac Falls and the Pinnacle Rock.
The accommodation was very secluded, peaceful, and quiet. It is situated a few minutes away from Graskop and is quite close to several attractions on the Panorama Route. The accommodation was affordable and the owner was a pleasure to interact with. All the facilities worked well and the kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. There was also daily room service.
Every little detail was tended to. The rooms were fantastic and Gustoff made sure all 6 of us were comfortable, well fed, and completely satisfied. Just loved the old look of the quite new lodge. Such a great place to stay to tour the Panorama Route before our safaris. Loved every minute of our stay there!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. On our first morning we even got coffee thus the breakfast hours has not officially started. The breakfast in general offered a good selection. The pool area was nice to chill. And the hotel is a good starting point to go on the Panorama route.
Location near Graskop and the Panorama Route, perfect to stop to visit the blyde river canyon. The owner is very kind, attentive and thoughtful , he prepared a vegan alternative for breakfast for me even if I informed him late.
The chalets are so cute in a beautiful location.
Very comfy beds, the owners were very friendly. There was a list of restaurants to visit in Graskop. Outside of the accommodation there's a table where one can sit. The kitchen was very spacious, as well was the bathroom.
VERY CLEAN!! Amazing front desk service. The place is conveniently located around many shops, restaurants and scenic sites in Graskop! Would most definitely stay there again. Highly recommend
La vue depuis la piscine et le chalet , l'excellent restaurant (indépendant de l'hotel)
Nice sight from swimming pool and chalet, the excellent restaurant (separate business from the hotel)
Great location right in the centre of Graskop - 2 minutes to anywhere, abundance of hot water and plenty of space for a family of 4. Perfect place for a couple of nights exploring the areas.
We stayed in Graskop hotel on the way to Kruger.
Felt very safe, rooms were basic but nice and warm.
Edurad from the reception was nice and informative! Really helped us plan our day.
The place was as advertised, close to most tourist attractions and shops, which was very convenient. The place is clean and has all needed appliances and cutlery
Great location for exploring Graskop and surrounds, wonderfully decorated home, comfortable beds, nice garden. Worked perfectly for the six in our group.
